Iceland - Patch (23.9.1)
This Iceland patch release resolves issues reported for Intrepid and related environments, with a focus on inventory date handling, pricing accuracy for add-ons and single supplements, and more reliable service and itinerary cloning. It also improves day-to-day stability for Inventory Management, Supplier Invoices, and Lightning pages that embed Visualforce content, along with performance refinements for Operational Itinerary re-evaluation.
Inventory — Allow Day Use No Longer Extends Overnight Windows (KT-15072)
[INT-0211 / Intrepid] Item 'Allow Day Use' wrongly extends overnight inventory windows to the checkout day Inventory Management Overnight stays no longer request or consume allotment on the checkout day when **Allow Day Use** is enabled on the item. Previously the flag extended an overnight line's inventory window through the departure date, producing spurious *Mixed* inventory statuses wherever no checkout-day allotment existed. Overnight windows now end on the last night; genuine same-day day-use bookings (arrival \= departure) are unchanged. Existing *Mixed* lines clear on their next inventory re-check.
Pricing — Add-on Unit Cost Uses Addon Allocation (KT-15015)
Incorrect Supplier Unit Cost for night-allocated add-ons on Standard-pricing items Price Manager For multi-day services that use Standard pricing, **Supplier Unit Cost** and **Unit Price** on add-ons are now calculated using each add-on’s own Allocation (night, day, or booking), instead of the parent service’s day span. Previously, a night-allocated add-on on a multi-night stay could show an incorrect unit value (for example, dividing by 3 days instead of 2 nights), while the cost and sell totals remained correct. After upgrade, new and recalculated pricing uses the corrected divisor. To update existing itinerary add-on lines that still show the old unit values, run **Recalculate add-on supplier unit cost and unit price using Addon Allocation** from **Kaptio Settings → Post Upgrade Steps**.
Services — Clone With Compound Address Fields (KT-14886)
[KHELP-12933 / Intrepid] Problem cloning service with compound address field Services Cloning a service that uses a compound Address field no longer fails field-level security checks. Service clones complete successfully so DMC and operations teams can duplicate service records as expected. KHELP-12933 Production Issue – Service Cloning Not Creating Records by DMC's
Inventory — Selecting Price Categories Beyond the First Results (KT-14834)
[KHELP-12947 / Intrepid] Price categories not selectable when creating inventory Inventory Management When creating or editing inventory, choosing a price category no longer collapses the search list to the first ten results. Categories found later in search remain selectable, and previously selected categories outside that initial set are preserved when you reopen the modal in edit mode. KHELP-12947 Kaptio Inventory Loading - Price Category Dropdown Issue
Operational Itineraries — Faster Re-evaluation Processing (KT-14458)
Implemented reference-scoped concurrency to optimize op itinerary re-evaluation Operational Itineraries Post-re-evaluation work for different Operational Itineraries can now run concurrently, reducing unnecessary waiting while preserving the required processing order within each itinerary.
Services — Price Categories Tab Lightning Embedding (KT-14452)
Header, footer and namespace issue for issue with click jack Services The **Price Categories** tab on the Service (Item) Lightning record page now hosts the price category overview directly on the Lightning page, instead of loading it through an embedded Visualforce wrapper. Navigation from that tab (including Quick Add) uses the correct managed-package namespace and returns users to the Lightning Service record page. If your org uses a customized (cloned) Service Lightning page flexipage, package layout updates are not applied automatically. On the Price Category tab, remove the Kaptio page wrapper for the price category overview and place the Price Category Overview component directly on the flexipage.
Tour Conversion — Correct Single Supplement Pricing (KT-14451)
Change price definition for single suppliment add-on during the conversion Group Tour The Tour Service Conversion Wizard now calculates a Single Supplement as the difference between the single price and the Twin or Double base price when converting a tour into a service with the **As Supplement** conversion type. This prevents negative add-on values in the standard pricing scenario where Twin or Double is cheaper per person than Single.
Itinerary Cloning — Add-on Dates Follow Shifted Start Dates (KT-14434)
[KHELP-12858 / Intrepid] Incorrect add-on dates on cloned price model with shifted start date Itinerary Cloning Add-on dates on a cloned Price Model now shift consistently with the new itinerary start date, preventing backdated add-ons and related end-date validation errors. KHELP-12858 Tax Add-Ons Automatically Backdate to 2026 Causing End Date Validation Errors on 2027 Itineraries
Departures — Timezone-Safe Date Selection (KT-14422)
Date filter bug with San-Francisco timezone Group Tour Fixed a timezone issue in the Create Departures calendar that could select the previous date or duplicate selected dates for users in certain time zones such as San Francisco.
Discount Actions — Clickjack Protection Fix (KT-14398)
[NX-3213, NX-3378] When click-jack protection is enabled certain pages throw errors Services Discount actions now open in a separate Visualforce page instead of an embedded iframe, resolving errors when clickjack protection is enabled.
Supplier Invoices — Force Recalculation Reliability (KT-14397)
(NX-3692) Force recalculating Supplier Invoices does not work currently Supplier Invoices Repeated Force Recalculation on supplier invoices no longer removes valid lines incorrectly when a booking mixes supplier agreement rules and default payment rules. Force recalculation now produces consistent line counts across repeated runs.
Price Models — Occupancy Preserved on Clone (KT-14387)
Preserve all occupancy slots when cloning a Price Model itinerary Itinerary Cloning Cloning a Price Model itinerary now preserves all occupancy slots, including empty slots without linked passengers, so the cloned itinerary matches the source occupancy structure. KHELP-12808 Occupant error in builder- in cloned PMs
Inventory Table — Pagination by Departure (KT-14365)
[KHELP-12123 / Intrepid] Inventory Table pagination skips tour departures Inventory Management Pagination now works correctly in the Inventory Table when results are grouped by Tour Departure or Package Departure. KHELP-12123 Pricing Calculation Issue for Departures with Same Dates KHELP-12839 SASY Departure Inventory – 06 Sep Departure Not Displaying in Departure Inventory UI
Lightning Pages — Embedded Visualforce Content Loads Reliably (KT-14362)
[KHELP-12734 / Intrepid, KHELP-12727 / Audley] VF pages in KaptioPageWrapper not loading on Lightning page Itinerary Builder Price Manager Visualforce pages embedded via Kaptio page wrapper — most notably the **Price Categories** tab on the Service Lightning page and the **Documents/Content** tab on the Itinerary and Operational Itinerary pages — load reliably. Users no longer see blank panels, multi-minute delays, or content that only appears after leaving the tab and returning. The issue was most pronounced under Salesforce Console navigation. KHELP-12734 Price Categories Tab Freezing / Delayed Load in Production (Post Phase 2)
Inventory — Timezone-Safe Contract Dates (KT-14326)
Timezone issue on Inventory Contract Creation Inventory Management In the Inventory Upsert modal, dates shown and validated in the package-departure inventory flow are no longer shifted by a day for users whose browser timezone differs significantly from UTC (for example, San Francisco). The “date will be created” message shows the correct local date, preventing false “date cannot be in the past” validation failures when adding a departure from Group Tour → By Package Departure Inventory.
