This Iceland minor release expands Package Search with an Advanced Tour Price Summary for packages that use Package Levels, so sales users can select a level per room on tour and land packages before opening Booking Wizard—without requiring a cruise component. It also stabilises the Package Price Summary table layout and corrects Package Levels pricing and labelling issues in Package Search and Booking Wizard.
Package Search — Price Summary Table Layout (KT-14279)
UI layout overflow issue in Package Search (Kaptio Version 22.28) Package Search This update improves the usability and layout stability of the Package Price Summary table. The component now supports horizontal scrolling with a responsive wrapper, ensuring consistent column alignment between header, content, and footer—even when promotions are displayed or large datasets are present. Fixed minimum widths have been introduced to prevent column compression, and vertical scrolling behavior has been refined to maintain alignment and visual consistency. Additionally, table borders and structure have been cleaned up for clearer row separation, resulting in a more robust and user-friendly pricing display.
Booking Wizard — Full Package Level Option Labels (ST-3195)
Package Level Option filtering does not show full name when only one option is available Booking Wizard When only one Package Level option is available, Booking Wizard now shows the full option name instead of truncating the label.
Package Search — Primary Component Configuration Feedback (ST-3147)
Land package with Package Levels and no Primary Component - Price Summary has API error returned in PS Package Search When a package is missing a required Primary Component for Price Summary (especially in Package Levels setups), Package Search now shows a clear error message instead of failing silently or continuing with incomplete data. This surfaces configuration issues earlier so packages can be corrected before booking.
Package Search — Per-Passenger Room Pricing for Package Levels (ST-3083)
Package Search shows wrong price for rooms with 2 pax in cell and Room Total column Package Search For packages using Package Levels, Package Search room cells now show the price per passenger instead of the room total, so the prices displayed match how passengers are priced on the booking.
Package Search — Correct Room Prices on Repeat Search (ST-3082)
Price for Double and Twin is wrong when search in Package Search more than once Fixed an issue where searching again in Package Search could calculate Double and Twin room prices from the wrong component option, producing incorrect room prices.
Package Search — Advanced Tour Price Summary for Package Levels (ST-2422)
2️⃣ (C15) Package Levels - Tour Price Summary Component Package Search Package Search now includes an Advanced Tour Price Summary for packages configured with Package Levels. Sales users can select a Package Level (for example bed type) per room on the availability view before opening Booking Wizard, with the same service-defaulting behaviour previously available only for cruise cabin levels. This allows tour and land packages—without a cruise component—to present per-room level pricing and selection in Package Search. To use the feature, set Service Level Mode to Package Levels, mark a Primary Component for Price Summary on the package, and assign Package Levels on the relevant component options. Configuration notes for administrators: - The Enable Advanced Price Summary setting on Service Record Types has been deprecated. Where that setting was previously enabled, set Enable Service Departures (Fixed Departure Service) to true on the corresponding Service Record Types instead (commonly the Cruise record type for cruise operators). - Confirm that Default Tax Profile is set under Custom Settings > App Settings. Known limitations in this release: promotions and waitlist are not supported with the Package Levels Tour Price Summary.
