Iceland - Patch (23.2.7)
This Iceland patch release resolves issues across cruise availability, transfers, payments, Change Occupancy, and cabin assignment workflows. It improves inventory accuracy for multi-room and multi-leg bookings, strengthens large and discounted transfer handling, and keeps payment schedules and retained services consistent after booking changes. Additional refinements improve departure generation, bulk allotment cancellation, Pricing Controls labels, and Cabin and Seating warnings.
Package Search — Capacity-Only Components Excluded from Cabin Availability (ST-4010)
Exclude capacity-only cruise components from cabin availability calculation Inventory Package Search Cruise cabin availability is now calculated using only components associated with cabin types. Package-level capacity components are excluded, preventing them from incorrectly reducing displayed cabin availability.
Costings — Re-check All Inventory for Multiple Rooms (ST-3982)
Recheck Inventory only works when there is 1 Room on the Itinerary Inventory A new Re-check All Inventory action on the Costings page now validates all itinerary items together in a single inventory request. This gives sales agents an accurate view of availability when multiple rooms or services draw from the same inventory, reducing the risk of confirming unavailable items.
Package Search — Cruise Cabin Results Restored (ST-3978)
PS returns no results for Highclere Castle package Package Search Package Search now receives the cabin-type inventory information needed to return eligible cruise packages, preventing valid results from being omitted.
Payments — Schedule Synchronization After Room Allocation (ST-3963)
Room allocation - payments tab shows different values for cancelled passenger Booking Overview Payments Room Allocation The itinerary payment schedule now remains synchronized after room-allocation changes, keeping the Payments tab consistent when those changes involve cancelled passengers.
Cabin and Seating — Duplicate Passenger Rows Removed (ST-3953)
Cabin and Seating tools shows duplicate passengers with N/A cabin Cabin and Seating Tool When All Cabin Types was selected, passengers could appear twice: once with their assigned cabin and again with an N/A cabin. The tool now includes only cabin-eligible bookings, so each passenger appears once even when a package also contains capacity-management components. No configuration changes are required.
Change Occupancy — Quantity-Based Option Availability (ST-3951)
When Option is quantity the AL options are behaving differently in Change Occupancy mode Change Occupancy Modify package Available units for quantity-based options are now calculated consistently during Change Occupancy, so option availability reflects the updated room occupancy.
Pricing Controls — Console Tab Label Loads Correctly (ST-3944)
In Console App Pricing controls tab name is not loaded when page is loaded Pricing Controls The Pricing Controls tab no longer remains labelled “Loading…” when opened or refreshed in a Salesforce Console App. It now displays the correct tab name after the page loads.
Payments — Duplicate Rolled-Up Deposits Prevented (ST-3943)
Interim Deposit roll-ups fail after Payment is taken Payments Recalculating a payment schedule after receiving payment could recreate a deposit that had already been paid and rolled into a combined past-due entry. Recalculation now preserves the existing combined deposit and final balance without adding a duplicate charge.
Transfer — Configurable Room Occupancy Limits (ST-3942)
Transfer only works with max 5 passengers in a Room Transfer Administrators can now configure the maximum number of adults and children allowed per room when using Transfer on Booking Overview, removing the previous fixed limit of five. The values configured on the Booking Overview component must match the organization's Kaptio API occupancy limits; contact your Kaptio representative before changing them if those limits are unknown. **How to configure** If you want to allow more than 5 adults or children per room during Transfer: 1. Go to **Setup → Lightning App Builder**. 2. Open the page containing the **Booking Overview** component. 3. Select the Booking Overview component and find the new fields: * **Max Adults Per Room** * **Max Children Per Room** 4. Set these to the number you want (for example, `12`). 5. Save and activate the page. **Important:** This number must match what your Kaptio API connection is configured to allow for your organization. If you raise this setting without your API-side limit also being raised, Transfer searches above the old limit will fail with an error message referencing "occupancy" and a maximum number. If you're unsure what your API-side limit is currently set to, contact your Kaptio representative before changing this setting.
Cabin and Seating — Single-Occupancy Warning Correction (ST-3941)
Cabin and Seating Warning (ST-3720) Should only apply when Cabin Type has Max Occupancy > 1 Cabin and Seating Tool The Cabin and Seating Tool no longer shows a room-split warning for single-occupancy cabin types, where room mates are expected to be assigned to separate cabins.
Transfer — Standalone Service Cancellation Retained (ST-3935)
When Transfer and the standalone service needs to cancelled it needs to be cancelled again if page is not refreshed after going back Change Occupancy Returning to the Transfer flow without refreshing no longer requires a standalone service cancellation to be repeated. The intended cancellation remains applied when users navigate back and continue the transfer.
Change Occupancy — Retained Pre/Post-Stay Services Preserved (ST-3925)
If the same pre/post stay is selected for new pax during CO, those services will be cancelled for existing pax and added again Change Occupancy Adding a passenger during Change Occupancy no longer cancels and recreates retained pre/post-stay or per-night services for existing passengers. Existing passengers therefore avoid incorrect cancellation fees for services they still have.
Inventory — Bulk Allotment Cancellation (ST-3919)
Updating Allotment Status to Cancel fails when doing in Bulk Inventory Bulk updates that set itinerary item Allotment Status to Cancel now complete successfully without incorrectly triggering the validation for reserving more units than are available.
Transfer — Improved Reliability for Large Itineraries (ST-3914)
Booking Wizard package transfer fails with Apex CPU time limit exceeded on large transfer (25 pax, 20 items) — Belmond SIT Booking Wizard Transfer Improved large itinerary transfers by processing them in smaller batches, reducing timeout risk.
Transfer — Discount Rounding Balance Correction (ST-3902)
Belmond - when discount is applicable there is a 0.01 discrepancy in amount after room transfer Discounts Transfer Transferring a room with an account discount could leave a £0.01 cancellation fee for one passenger on the source itinerary. Fully transferred rooms now leave a zero balance for every passenger.
Package Search — Per-Leg Cruise Availability (ST-3848)
Availability for 2-leg cruise components incorrect in Day-to-Day view Package Search Package Search's day-to-day timeline now shows correct per-leg cabin availability for multi-leg cruise packages (e.g. Paris–Budapest–Paris), instead of incorrectly displaying the same package-wide minimum inventory for every leg.
Itinerary Builder — Cancelled Passengers Excluded from Occupancy (ST-3841)
Standalone services by default added for cancelled pax as well Cancellations Itinerary Builder Itinerary Builder occupancy and channel-role counts now exclude cancelled passengers. Quantities and default occupancy for itinerary items and new standalone services therefore reflect active passengers only.
Booking Overview — Accurate Discounted Price Change Indicator (ST-3756)
Component error thrown in Modify view when valid discounts on cabin cruise service Booking Overview Booking Wizard Discounts Rooms with a Pricing Controls discount no longer show a price-changed indicator before anything has been edited. The indicator now appears only after a genuine price change and displays the previous price correctly.
Package Editor — First Day Only Departure Generation (ST-3707)
Package Departures not auto-generating properly Package Editor Package departure generation now uses availability on the first day of the stay for components configured with First Day Only inventory, rather than requiring consecutive availability for the component's full duration. Components using Each Day inventory continue to require availability on every day.
