Iceland - Patch (23.5.5)
This Iceland patch release addresses reported issues across Payments and Package Search, improving reliability when recording transaction payments and making availability information easier to interpret. Package Search now distinguishes critical and non-critical availability problems on the calendar, with clearer text and horizontal scrolling on narrower layouts. Payments workflows also benefit from validation messages that remain visible on the Payment Information modal and improved lookup search when registering manual payments.

Package Search — Critical vs non-critical availability indicators (ST-3518)
KHELP-12760 | Armstrong | Differentiate Rail vs Non-Rail Sold Out Icons on Package Availability View Package Search Package Search can now tell the difference between critical availability problems (ones that should block selling) and non-critical ones (warnings that may still allow booking). On the Availability calendar: - **R** — A configured critical service type (for example Rail) has a problem on that date. The cell is highlighted in red. - **E** — There is an availability or configuration issue, but it is not tied to a critical service type you have configured. - **Sold Out** — No inventory remains for that departure (unchanged). Hovering a flagged date shows a short explanation of what is wrong. Two Experience Builder settings work together on Package Search and Itinerary Builder: 1. **Allow Create Itinerary on restricted departures** — Lets users start an itinerary from dates that are not fully bookable. 2. **Critical service types for restricted departures** — Optional comma-separated list of Item Type names (for example Rail, Accommodation). Matching problems on a date show **R** and can still block Create Itinerary. Other issues may show **E** and may still allow Create Itinerary when the option above is enabled. If the critical types list is left empty, any restricted date can still allow Create Itinerary when that option is turned on. Payments — Payment Information validation errors (ST-3539)
[KHELP-11961 - Armstrong] Validation errors on Payment Information screen close too quickly/do not appear Payments Fixed an issue on the Payment Information modal where validation errors were not displayed when saving a Transaction payment. The modal now remains open and surfaces the validation message (for example a missing Transfer Booking Name) directly in the UI, so users can correct the error without being redirected back to the Payments list.
