Hawaii - Patch (22.12.24)
This Hawaii patch release resolves issues reported for a specific customer's booking workflows, with a focus on Service Search pricing consistency and Manual Rail passenger handling in the Itinerary Builder. Organisations can opt in so services added after a package keep the package’s designed profitability margin, and changing a Manual Rail price category no longer undoes a consultant’s traveller selection when occupancy type stays per-person.
Service Search — Package Profitability Inheritance (ST-4061)
[KHELP-12454 - Railbookers] Package profitability inheritance for Service Search additions Service Search Services added via Service Search to an itinerary that already contains a package can now inherit the package’s profitability group, so post-shop additions keep the designed package margin. This behaviour is opt-in per organisation and off by default. Fixed-price and manually priced services always keep their own pricing, and selected profitability groups can be configured to retain their own margin inside packages. Itinerary Builder — Manual Rail Passenger Selection Preserved (ST-3997)
[KHELP-12993 - Railbookers] Preserve Manual Rail Passengers When Updating Price Category Itinerary Builder Changing the price category on a Manual Rail line in the Itinerary Builder no longer resets a manually adjusted passenger selection back to all itinerary travellers. Travellers removed from the rail line stay removed when the price category is updated, as long as the new category uses the same per-person occupancy type.
